Albert Ng, past vice-president of ICOGRADA and founding president of the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD) joins the panel. His experience and knowledge of the hurdles of developing of design certification will bring a vital perspective to the dialogue.
About Albert:
Award winning package design instructor, Albert Ng is a Member of the Order of Ontario, one of the highest Canadian honors He led a ten year campaign for the professional accreditation of graphic designers in Ontario. The resulting legislation caused him to become known as the “father of graphic design accreditation.” Ng founded the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario, where he helped develop clearly defined standards of professional practice and a greater understanding of the important role of graphic design in business and economic success. His accreditation model was a first in North America, second in the world.
